Catch Up Friday

Happy Friday, everyone! As my Hook Me Up! subscribers already know, it's been a busy week for me. I hope it's been a great week for all of you!

First up, a reminder: it's the last day to enter to win a copy of "Touched by an Alien" at the Tempting Persephone blog, so hurry over and enter if you haven't already!

Today's also the last day to cast your vote at The Blog With Bite for which selection will be read in June. "Touched by an Alien" is in the lead (!) but only just, so please head over and vote if you haven't already!

Also, you have until this Sunday, May 30th, to get signed up on Hook Me Up! so you can participate in Week Four, starting Monday, May 31st. Only one more week to go to get a big chance at some cool prizes, so sign up today! Send an email to gini@ginikoch.com with "Hook Me Up!" in the subject line and you'll be all set!

Next up, there's a short and sweet review of "Touched by an Alien" up at Mixed Book Bag. Head on over, check it out, and show some Alien Collective love!

My contracts for "Alien in the Family" and "Alien Proliferation" have arrived and are sitting on my desk as I type this. Have to read (yes, you should always read every line of your contract, no matter how boring it may be), sign, return, and then bounce up and down for a while!

Finally, I had two book signings this week, both of which were really successful and a ton of fun! The bigger one was a private signing party put on by some good friends of mine, and it totally rocked! All these gals should be professional event planners and publicists, is all I can say! I felt like a rock star!

For those in the States or around the world who celebrate it, let me wish you all a very happy Memorial Day Weekend. And to any and all veterans and people in uniform in every country, a heartfelt thanks for all you do and sacrifice to keep your city, country, and world safe.

Love,
Gini

Hey Gini! :-)

You had quite an eventful week :-p

I already voted at Blog with Bite I would really like to read and discuss Touched by an Alien with them! I hope it wins!

Yay, congrats on your new contracts!! And as a lawyer I wholeheartedly agree: you should always read every single line of any contract very carefully and even ask a lawyer for clarifications if something is a bit fuzzy, as normal people can't even imagine all that a few masterfully bended expressions can do..

Good bouncing up and down!! :-D

Have a great weekend, relax a bit and soak up the sun!

:-) Stella

Cool, Stella, thanks so much for voting! And yeah, I read a clause, take a break, read a clause, take a break...LOL.

Definitely relaxing this weekend. Well, somewhat, anyway. Hope you get to, too!

Have fun bouncing up and down and feeling like a rockstar! You totally deserve it!

And know that when you sign those contracts you've not only accomplished something truly spectacular for yourself, but you have also made MANY fans extremely happy (and I'm one of em'!)

Congrats again!

I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaack!!! *grin* Miss me?

Sounds like you had almost as busy a week as I did. Throw in a couple kids and I bet it would've been the same! :)

Awesome on the book signing and the contracts. As Head of the Technical Team here at Team Gini we love more contracts because that means we get to keep our jobs. LOL

Gini,
Long time no speak. Glad to hear the wonderful things about TBAA. You deserve every accolade you get. It's a great book, the first in a long line of great books. See ya later. TTFN.

Awww, thanks, you guys!

Brandy, I'd LOVE to come to the South and not just for a book signing -- I love the peeps and the FOOD! Sadly, right now, a book tour isn't happening, but, you know, the future remains open!

Danielle, so glad you and the others are happy about more aliens and more Kitty! :-D

Lisa, where IS my Tigger picture?

Wils, thanks so much, and don't be such a stranger! We miss seeing you regularly!

Now, off to do some more work on the start of "Alien Proliferation"...and then hit a bar-be-que! Hugs and smootchies to all!
