Comic-Con Swag Pack Theme Five: The Grab Bag Pack

HOOK ME UP! EXCLUSIVE CONTEST

As my Hook Me Up! subscribers already know, today's Pack is a combination of all the other Packs. But what a combination it is!

Inside one of the "get" bags of the conference, the Hubworld.com Bag you'll find: posters, including Vampire Academy and Torchwood; bookmarks; books, including LOST Artifacts; a Piranha 3-D visor; postcards; temporary tattoos, including True Blood; comics, including Thor; buttons and other miscellany; and a Limited Edition "No Ordinary Family" t-shirt. But wait, there's no ARC in this one? Nope, there isn't. But to make you feel better, there's another t-shirt, the Limited Edition Rocket Poppeteers! t-shirt.

So, tell me -- what special talent do you have that makes grabbing this eclectic bag the right Pack for you? Why do you deserve two t-shirts?

Not on Hook Me Up! yet despite all the awesome Swag that's available? Well, there's still time. Send an email to gini@ginikoch.com with "Hook Me Up!" in the subject line, and your winning ways will begin! But do it fast -- Swag like this doesn't last forever, you know!

Love,
Gini

I am a vampire... so the usual powers apply... mind control, night vision, speed and so on...

I deserve this pack because... isn't it obvious? we vampires are an advanced race, so we deserve only the best... period!

My special talent is the ability to annoy the daylights out of my family and friends and to take any conversation straight into the gutter!
I deserve 2 shirts because I am that good - not really but because I can never make up my mind what to wear so more choices are great!
This bag suits me because my mind is just as eclectic as it is!

Is being a champion whiner considered being a talent? I'm also a premier nagger. No one but you, Gini, has a more blonde than other color moment than me. That's got to be a talent.

I also have a talent for making delicious baked goods and if I win this swag pack, well I'd definitely spread some of the love around.

It's been awhile since you've had any crack bunnies. Just saying. :D

Because I love all the series, which are listed...now if you'd ask if we knew about any of them...that would have been the millon dollar question. LOL!

I've been following the No Ordinary Family stars and they are great. The fact that Torchwood is coming back has me very jazzed. And the Thor movie looks interesting to say the list. Now, Piranha I can take or leave! LOL!

Talk to you soon!

@Larissa, well it's not really nice for you to go and play the paranormal race card like that besides I'm sure that here at the Blah, Blah, Blah Blog and at http://ginikoch.blogspot.com/ that everyone no matter their paranormal race or any other factor are treated equally. :)

I deserve this bag because I have the special talent of being a super hero, and even though I have an amazing costume, a girl's gotta maintain her secret identity, so two t-shirts could really help me cover up my costume and allow me to keep kicking butt! So give this awesome swag to me, and I'll think of you when I'm lurking in the shadows and beating bad guys, maybe I can incorporate you in my super hero oath.

@nightsongfire, Yea I'd love Torchwood Poster too! It's crazy that its just Gwen and Captain Jack Harkness, the new series of course will be adding new cast members and this time it'll be shot in US and around the world! Wouldn't it be cool to see Captain Jack Harkness in your super market!

@cissikat taking conversations into the gutter, I'm pretty good at that too! Might have to have a dirty talk off!

I'm retired and live in t-shirts. I can always use more. Not a talent just a need. Think of the ad value for the issuer.

LOST!!! Must have! T-shirts are great- they're a nice gift if need be, perfect for lazy days and normal days... I guess I have the gift of appreciation and generosity. Or rather, generosity under circumstance. ;)

Thanks for the giveaway!

My special talent is a closely guarded secret. I could tell you, but then I'd have to...well...you get the point.

I deserve two shirts because I live with my sister who has an overdeveloped sense of entitlement and will expect one for herself if I win.

I can wiggle my ears, cross one eye, roll my tongue both ways and over.
I can warm a sad heart.
I can think of amazing gifts for friends.
I have a knack for catchy titles, especially when they aren't my own.
I need two t-shirts so I can share the wealth.

@Carol: I deeply admire your talent.
@Lisa: Be careful communicating with those spirits. They're obviously liars!
@Lucky Luna: Oooh! Can we have a hint? What's your super power?
Oh, and I forgot, I have been told I have magic fingers for my massages.

What special talents do I have? How nice of you to ask! I'm especially good at beta-ing for members of my writing group, finding split infinitives and the like. I'm also good at cheesecake, longing for representation, tapping my foot in a show of impatience, and of course, writing poetry, short stories, and (you guessed it) so-far, unpublished novels. Someday, I'll be good at accepting accolades and prizes, especially the Pulitzer. (You should hear the speech I've prepared!) :D Two t-shirts? I'm a big woman. Lots of territory to cover. Also :( Extremely poor. A teacher. No money. Need to cover my nakedness.

My talent? I can eat burritos directly from the microwave without scorching my tongue. Same with hot pizza. I can also supply either 1 1970s song lyric or sitcom punchline for nearly any occasion.

@Amber, I totally have cat like powers, you know always land on my feet, can sneak in the shadows and I have really sharp nails that can scrap off a layer of skin in a second! Meow!

Being a good gift giver is very good talent. I always am thinking about what to get people, some people it's impossible to figure out!

I have all powerful breasts!! They have the ability to stop traffic, defy any bra's ability to coral them, smother infants and grown men, and in the past have been known to grant the rest of me entry into bars when the wearer was underage! Two times in the past they were filled with milky ammunition that could double barrel blast arch enemies and sometimes close friends at long distances.

I need this bag and both t-shirts, one for each powerful breast!

My special talent is to ruin electronics just by looking at them. :) I have ruined countless number of dvd players, keyboards, and stereos just by a glance!

You had me with this pack as soon as Torchwood was mentioned!

@ Amber thanks!
@ Kelly Your breasts sound amazing! I could totally see them having their own show! The Mighty Breasts! If your breasts are too mighty for those shirts, you can always hand them over to me! ;)

@ A Buckeye Girl I have that talent as well, destroyed laptops, keyboards, mp3 players, cd players cameras,! It makes it easy for people to give me gifts though! They always have to replace whatever I break!

I have decided that my super hero name will be Breastocles the Bold! I will banish all breast cancer from this world and slay icky old men that only stare at breasts...well...unless it's your icky old man and he is only staring at yours...then he can keep his testicles! I will spread "perky-powder" on all women over the age of 35 and your breasts will once again be young and firm and able to go bra-less if you so desire!

I will rule the world and men will become slaves to breasts...oh wait...they already are! Damn...that was my platform! Well still...I will be firm and huge and mighty!!

Special talent? I can organize anything. Seriously, anything. Although I am no longer allowed to organize other people's bedrooms on the grounds that "trash" is not a valid category when going through their closet. And I deserve two t-shirts because I wear so many of them, I need extras to keep up.

Breastocles the Bold is happy that she has fans! She will now only speak about herself in the 3rd person! It is a sign that the power has already gone to her head!

LOL - at her own wit!
