OOHHH! you can win ARCs on Goodreads? why was I not informed of this?! lol
@All - I've been less than knocked out as far as winning anything on Goodreads, which is my only complaint with the site. I won a book with just about the first drawing I entered, but that's about it.
@Cody Calahan, I too have a goodreads profile. If I had the internet, I would let you know what name it is under, but... I would have to leave this page, try to look it up, then come back and its too much work on my phone right now. Maybe I'll take my laptop to the old house tomorrow...
@ratkin, I've read a few of the Elemental Assassin books, they were not bad. I really liked her superhero type series, too bad it was discontinued :-( Although I do really want to try her Frost series, it looks really good.
Do you know what I hate though? When you find a really good series (for example Unded and Unwed) and then it just keeps going on forever and ever and you give up on it. I love Mary Janice Davidson, she's hilarious, but I am so done with that series of hers.
@ratkin: that's good! with all the contests I've ever entered I've only ever won once - and I've entered A LOT of contests!
@Anon: I actually really like the Undead series, and I like that there's more than 3 books in it. I get what you mean about it going on for ages, but it'll end very soon and it's not like each book is exactly the same as the one before it.
@Jesse - Same here. I finally got semi-disgusted, and hardly even bother entering anymore.
@Everyone, okay, I don't know why it published my as Anonymousn but that's me. Stupid cell phone! I want my internet again!!!
@ratkin, nope not yet but they do look good, might have to check them out.
@Jesse, Yes, yet another reason to join Goodreads. :)
@Ratkin: I still enter, but I don't hold out much hope that I'll win. EXCEPT for this contest of course :P
@Anonymous - That's why I'm waiting (with some trepidation) to see where Estep's Elemental Assassin series will go. It was originally sold as a limited series, and that story arc was completed in "Spider's Revenge." Now that the series is continuing, who's to say how good it will be?
@Shanna: hahaha! I was wondering why anyone would go as anonymous on a site where you actually want to win! lol
@ratkin, I don't think I've ever really won anything. Oh wait, I won a countertop roaster at one of my Christmas parties this year.
@Ratkin&Shanna: I'm one of those strange people that hate when a series ends (although I obviously understand that they do have to finish!) but I do hate it when the latest books aren't as good as when the series started out. Which is why I generally like spin offs!
@Jesse - What name do you use on Goodreads?
@ratkin, Yes, I've only won one book from Goodreads too. I win a lot more from LibraryThing (4 so far).
@Jesse, I liked Estep's superhero series too and I have the first of her new YA series on my To be read pile.
Whoops looks like Shanna was anonymous so my last comment was for her. :)
@ratkin, I know! I don't mind when they focus on different characters in a long running series, but when its about one main character for 14 books, you're kind of like, what else can possible happen?
@Jesse - I will read a good series for as long as it stays a good series. My example of a series that went off the rails is Laurel Hamilton's Anita Blake series. The early books were great, but somewhere along the line it stopped being a science fiction series with sex scenes and started being a sex series with sporadic outbreaks of science fiction.
@ratkin, I totally agree! I was just going to mention her series as a good book gone bad lol! It seems like she just kept trying to outdo herself book after book and I'm like, if I wanted porn, I would look in the porn section, this is supposed to be sci-fi/ fantasy!
@Becky - I read "Karma Girl" after finding a used copy. I enjoyed it a bit, but there's no mistaking the fact that it's a first effort. Her later stuff is much better written.
@ratkin, true, I probably liked it so much because I love reading books with superheroes. That series has prompted me to check out her other series too though.
@Shanna - Conversely, the series I would love to see go on and on is ending after the next book! I love Gail Carriger's Parasol Protectorate books, and it's over after the new book comes out. She'll have a spin-off series, but close doesn't count.
@ratkin, Parasol Protectorate eh? I haven't heard of it, I'll have to check it out.
@Everyone, well, I'm going to be going to bed right away here. Talk to you all tomorrow!
@Ratkin: i don't have one yet. ;) yeah, I agree with you on that series.
@Shanna: goodnight! i'll be here tomorrow! (the last day of the comp!)
@all(or those who care 'cause I'm too lazy to single 'em out) I liked Nicole Peeler's series, and I've no idea when it's gonna end. currently there's 4 books out and I know there will definitely be at least 6 books. Oh! I love Gena Showalter's Lords of the Underworld and Alien huntress, LoTU will have at least 12 (but probably more) and alien huntress has about 8 but with spin off. But with those (except Nicole Peeler) they have different narrators each time, so I suppose it makes a difference.
Aww man! look at all these conversations that went on without me! The ZBB concet was a BLAST! They did a verion of "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" That was better than Charlie Daniels's original. Which is saying something.
@ratkin - "I like Patterson's Maximum Ride books as a concept, but his practive of having 'chapters' that are about ten sentences long gets tiresome." I laughed when I read that. That's the same reason I quit reading that series.
@All - Have any of you read Michael Buckley's "The Sisters Grimm" series? I am DYING for the last one to finally come out. It's YA and I also really like YA books.
@ratkin - Wow! It looks like you have been to some amazing concerts. Led Zepplin was actually the first concert I went to. Loud and lots of hair is about all I remember from it.
Aaaaand now it's bedtime! Good night all. Even though you were all supposed to wait for me and not go and keep having conversations, and thusly more contest entries, without me! I am the center of the universe after all!
@Shanna - I forgot to mention, no my husband has no brothers and all his cousins are married or female, so your kinda out of luck there. Though I will admit he is an amazing guy if only for putting up with me for the last 15 and a half years!
@Ducknme: goodnight! I'm glad you had fun (and enjoyed) your concert! :) Now you know how I feel when I get on! You guys all are in the same timezone and have whole conversations without me! I know, I don't know how you manage either! :P oh. and yess! I've read the first one! :P it was goood!
well... it's been ages since anyone's been on (i'm betting it's pretty darn late where you are), so here is my 2nd last haiku!
I'll be back tomorrow!
Please please please please please
Bestow your favour on me
Super mighty GoR! <3
@Jesse - That may have been your best haiku yet!
@shanna -- no worries. Maybe you can find me once you've got Internet again.
Good Morning everyone!
@ducknme, glad you had an awesome time at the concert! I haven't read any of the Sisters Grimm books, I'll have to check them out. Also, for some reason I don't think the Universe actually revolves around you. Reason A) you have kids B) you live in Utah, and C) the Universe actually revolves around me! :-P Damn, I strike out again! Why are the good ones always taken, or gay! I think the GoR are playing a joke on me, lol!
@Jesse Ivanoff, LOL that was prety good, please 5 times in a row, cheater!
@ratkin -- I agree. I've read all the Anita Blake series and you are exactly correct. I guess I felt some sense of loyalty to it but I've been pretty disappointed with it more recently.
Is anyone there? Or is my phone just glitching and not showing new comments?
@shanna -- hahaha I was thinking the same thing. I think it's just that nobody has been posting.
@Cody Calahan, what slackers! I guess they just aren't interested in winning an ARC! (Guess that means I should get them all!) Mwahahahahaha
@Shanna, I'm here. :)
*offers the Gods of Random some of my Chipotle burrito*
@shanna and Becky -- hey between the three of us there's at least enough for the three of us to get copies. Holler at your boy.
@Cody Calahan, holler at your toy? What kind of toy are we talking about here? Lol
Lol, on my cell phone it looks like you said toy! I was thinking, what kind... The creepy clown, G.I. Joe, Scooby Doo (my favorite by the way).
@Cody Calahan - I know you were talking to Shanna, but what does "Holler at your boy mean"? I holler at my son from time to time, but usually to dicourage bodily harm to his sister.
@Shanna - Scooby-Doo is the BEST!
@Cody Calahan - One of thse ARCs is MINE! And don't you forget it!
@Cody :)
Yeah, that's what I'm hoping for.
*Smiles and gives the Gods of Random some fresh popcorn*
@ducknme -- haha of course one for you also. I was trying to be SUPER not cool. Just meaning show me some love. LOL
@shanna -- nope. I said boy. Not another slips up like when I said two balls in a relationship. Hahaha
I'm baaaccckkkkK! again, I woulda been on sooner, but my little sis just got stung by a wasp. fun times...
@Ducknme thank you! ☺
@Shanna: it’s not cheating if… uhh.. lemme get back to you on that :P
@Cody: how does holler at your boy translate into show me some love? shouldn't it be more along the lines of hate? I mean, who likes being hollered at?
WOW!!! We are coming to an end to this giveaway....
@jesse -- Look, let's just chalk it up to American Ebonics and leave it at that.
@Kelly -- ain't it a stinker? It went by kinda quick.
@ducknme, another person with excellent taste!
@Jesse Ivanoff, is your sister ok? Is she prone to this kind of thing? My friend was helping me move and it turns out there was a wasps nest under our front door. She, of course, got stung. On the lip! If its going to happen, it happens to her. And always in the worst possible way! And in regards to the Haiku, yeah, that's what I thought!
@Kelly, don't say that! I need more entries!!!
@Kelly: it's quite sad, isn't it? after today we'll actually know who wins the comp! and we won't have as much of an excuse to chat! ;_;
@Shanna: yeh, she's ok, I just took her to daycare (type thing) and recently...yeah! this thing seems to be happening a lot. last week she got bitten by a huntsmen (like me, she's deathly scared of spiders) and then now a wasp! I dunno whats next (but I can say she makes a TERRIBLE patient!) wow! I'm sorry about your friend! the poor thing!
I now have my excuse: it's not cheating if it's art, or if you're desperate!
@jesse -- I will get your email addy from ducknme so we can at least TRY to stay in contact. But yes I'm excited to see who wins the ARC's!!
**Leaves chocolate cordial cherries, albondigas soup, and fresh-made strawberry margaritas for the GoR**
@Cody: get it soon! :P I dunno if I'm excited to see who wins - more like scared, apprehensive, confident... :P lol. Whatever happens (although I hope to the GoR that I win *leaves strawberry shortcake*) it's been fun to be on here every day!
@Cody - WHAT kind of gas soup?
@ratkin -- ALBONDIGAS. It's a Mexican soup. Super delicious.
@Ducky and Shanna - Scooby Doo us absolutely the best! I've spent a long time trying to find a bumper sticker I used to see from time to time: W.W.S.D. (What Would Scooby Do?)
@Cody: mmmm....soup... It's almost lunch time here and I have no food. (except for chocolate but that's no good for lunch...) so! I can sit here fantasizing about food or run to the shops and get some! (I think I'm going to sit here and fantasize!) ;P
@Ducky - My concert list was only of the high points. There were also some extremely crappy ones, and more that I went to despite seriously dislikely the act involved. (When you're getting paid to do it, you go where the folks with the dough send you!)
@jesse -- will do! I definitely wanna keep in touch even after this contest is done.
I get what you mean about being apprehensive. But, honestly, as much as I want one of the ARC's, I know either way they will hopefully go to some avid fans. But I REALLY want one so don't think I'm giving up on it.
@Ratkin: it seems as if we finally share something in common! Scooby is the best and I cannot wait until my sister is old enough to enjoy him so I can have an excuse to watch (and rewatch) all the episodes! also: I totally want one of those bumper stickers! Love the pun!
@Ducky - And it also doesn't cover the list of people I met and/or interviewed. I may be old now, but I had fun getting here!
@Cody: I do agree with you. If anyone an ARC of the greatest book ever, it's the people on this blog. However - I totally want one 'cause even with the time it takes to ship here it's eons less time then waiting for it to be available here! So, I'm not giving up either! I'm in it till the end! (and perhaps even after the end...)
@jesse -- I have the same issues. Saturday and Sunday are the days I only eat like one meal. Im usually crazy hungry, but can't get myself together enough to actually GO get food.
@ Jesse - I waited and searched for years until they finally put "The 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo" out on DVD. It's the limited series that had Vincent Price as the voice of Vincent VanGhoul. They finally put it out last year, and I had someone buy it for me.
@Ratkin: you had fun and a good life filled with joy and joyness and NOW you choose to abandon all people skills and decorum???? Really?!
@Cody: lol. me too. when I'm outta food I generally get takeaway for dinner or just have a sandwich. I think today's going to be one of those days...meh. I might go shopping later - but that would mean leaving the computer for a limited amount of time :0! XD
@Ratkin: you lucky basted! suddenly I'm thinking that that sounds like a dvd I MUST have! sorta like this ARC! :) ever considered sharing...? <3
@jesse -- hahaha hilarious. I could always do with some pizza at this point. LOL
@Cody and Jesse - Let me repeat my earlier suggestion: the Alien Collective HQ website fan forum would be a perfect place to carry on conversations like this once the contest is over. If you haven't been there, try http://aliencollectivehq.com/?page_id=269
It hasn't really gotten a lot of action yet, but it would be a great spot to stay together.
@Jesse - I'm actually a pretty nice guy most of the time. If you read the contest description there's a special prize for making Gini laugh, and she encourages snark. There's no mention of a prize for the person with the most puppy dogs licking their shoes while butterflies perch on their shoulders. :)
@ratkin -- good suggestion. I make it a link from the home screen on my phone. You already got me on goodreads so I can see what good books you've read and recommend.
@ratkin -- hahaha I love the snark you throw out. Must be from all those LONG years you've lived in the home and enjoyed being mentally insane.
@Jesse - I share stuff all the time. Sharing with someone in Australia might present some tactical issues, though, and The Home's computer set-up is a little short on DVD ripping software.
@Cody - My move to The Home and the beginning of what you think of as my insanity (I just think of it as Being Me) don't necessarily coincide. I've been like this for a LONG time!
@Jesse - Here's a little Scooby trivia for you: the origins of Scooby Doo are in the old Hanna-Barbera series The Jetsons. Scooby is a ringer for their dog Astro, except for a color change from grey to brown. Even the voice the largely the same.
@Ratkin: damn. Here I was hoping that it had the latest in software-ripping-off-technology! :P well, it kinda does. "the person who males her awww the most" but snark is easier. and funnier. Too bad it takes to long to perfect. :P and what's wrong with butterfly's perching on your shoulder? that'd be soooo cute! XD and I'm sure your insanity has been with you since you were dropped on your head as a baby! it's very common.
@ratkin -- oh I don't doubt it. Crazy like that can't just be made up.
@Ratkin: I've never seen The Jetsons, but you're making me think that maybe I should give it a looksee! That's quite cool...
@Jesse - Actually I had a very traumatic childhood. My mother had my baby shoes bronzed while I was still in them.
(OK, that's actually an old Woody Allen stand-up line, but I always liked it!)
@Jesse - There's nothing wrong with butterflies on your shoulder. There's just no prize for it, either.
@Ratkin: lol. of course there is! The prize is that you managed to have a freakin' butterfly on your shoulder! and that animals obviously love you.. and therefore you're a good person. Lots of prizes! (just maybe not the greatest prize of all - The ARC)
@Cody.... I know right
Oh @shanna.
You have enough entries already...
:)
@Jesse,
I know.....
mmmmmmm Turkey!!!!
it's what's for dinner...
I am going to have to go back through all the posts and collect all these yummy recipes...
@ratkin, @ducknme, @Jesse Ivanoff, I have to admit that I have a ton of scooby doo movies, and a bunch of the ones that have 10 or so epidsodes on them.
@ratkin, I totally want that bumper sticker! The bumper magnet I currently have says "Warning! Zombies Ahead!"
@Jesse Ivanoff, @Cody Calahan, we all soooo need to keep in touch!
I really want an Orange Creamsicle...
Who wants to go get me whipped Vodka?
@Kelly -- I loves me an orange creamsicle. Damn now I want one. Got the whipped cream vodka. But no orange soda or juice. Lol
I've got a way to find you on twitter so we can exchange emails or whatever that way. Or we can stay in touch on the alien collective chat boardy thing that ratkin was blathering on about earlier as well.
I want your zombies bumper magnet. LOL
@Cody - "Blathering on about"? You young people today (VERY young, in your case) have no repect any more!
@Jesse - In the woods near The Home there are foxes, coyotes, deer (although they're usually out playing with the antelope), turtles, butterflies, mosquitoes, and all sorts of other assorted Flora and Fauna. (Flora's my girlfriend, you know.) A few butterflies hanging around aren't a treat.
*Stopping by to sing the Gods of Random an inspirational ballad about how awesome they are*
@Ratkin: but you haven't made friends with the butterflies! *makes starry eyes* you must believe in the butterfly, for the butterfly to believe in you! <3
**Crickets chirp quietly in the background as the Gods of Random snooze. They're resting up in anticipation of the arduous task of awarding ratkin his ARC.**
@Kelly: I'm Jealous! noodles and a tiny bit of melted cheese. That's what's for dinner. :P
@Ratkin: the crickets are my friends! they will give me ARC! <3 (see making friends pays off!)
@Jesse - Playing with the deer, the antelope and Flora (not necessarily in that order) is way more fun than the butterflies. Butterflies are crappy conversationalists, totally consumed with what blossomed today.
@Becky: that was truly inspirational!
@Jesse - Extortion makes friends pay off much more quickly.
@Jesse, friend of the crickets, huh. I don't think crickets have any real pull with the Gods of Random or that they're any good at stealing ARCs.
@Ratkin: who says you can't play with them all? as well as the dogs, unicorns, kangaroos, birds and dragons of course! then you have even more connections! And butterfly's are not bad conversationalists! They're just busy, that's all!
@Jesse :)
*trying not to snort with laughter as I picture ratkin frolicking with various woodland creatures.*
@All - Since you all fixated on ARCs, you folks can all occupy yourselves reading about ARCitecture, ARCiology, [don't worry...I'm not gonna string this one out too far] and ARCipeligoes while I'm reading my advance copy of "Alien Diplomacy."
@Ratkin: but that makes you a meanie that no animals want to play with!
@Ratkin: you missed the reader's or advanced readers copy. therefore, you do not deserve and Advanced Readers Copy of Alien Diplomacy. I do! :)
@Becky: right there with you. I know, it's hard to hold in the laughter! And crickets have friends who have sway with the GoR!
@Becky - That reminds me of an old Robert Benchley comment: "I can't bring myself to say, 'Well, I guess I'll be toddling along.' It isn't that I can't toddle. It's just that I can't guess I'll toddle."
Dear GoR,
I love you....
@Jesse & Becky - Not to ruin your fun, but I regret to inform you that my ability to frolick expired [a word I try not to use too often] a number of years ago.
@Ratkin: sadly, I know this. It's kinda MASSIVELY, GLARINGLY OBVIOUS -LIKE THIS TEXT- but is funny to picture. *rolls on the floor with laughter*
Dear GoR...
I love you way more than @Kelly
<3 <3 <3
(you too Gini<3)
OKAY, I'm finally here! It's been a day! I'm ready to join the conversation and get more entries. Kelly is almost right, you ALL have enough entries, but I need to get some more and I'm not sure how to do it without talking to you all, so.... I guess you can stay.
@ratkin, I believe that you never loose the ability to frolick, you're just slower in commencing with the frolicking. :)
@ratkin - Did you know that the Seattle Space Needle was based on the homes from the Jetson's?
@ratkin - Stick with Flora, I hear Fauna bites!
@Ducknme: why thank you! <3 you can stay too!
Dear Gods of Random:
I adore you more then Kelly and Jesse. :)
Dear GoR,
Please forgive @Jesse..... It is not true...
I love you the MOSTEST!!!!!!
Dear GoR, I love you way more than any of the rest of these bozos and I'm FAR more random.
Dear GoR,
Please forgive @Jesse..... It is not true...
I love you the MOSTEST!!!!!!
To Gini,
You are the Queen Bee!!!!
LOVE YOU!!!!!
@Becky - You adore Kelly and Jesse, but you adore the Gods of Random more? This is getting kinky!
Dear GoR, I love you Mostest-er Than Jesse OR Kelly!
@Jesse - Laughing at the disabilities of the elderly is an ugly trait in young people.
Poor @ratkin,
Doesn't know what to do with all this girl love... *wiggle eyebrows*
@Kelly - Why, what remarkable Sucking Up!
@ducknme... Are you sure?
Cause I am thinking not!!
@The GoR: ignore @Kelly, @Becky and @ducknme. they no not of which they speak! I love you more than the mostest, and am much more random than anyone I've ever met!
and Gini, you are a goddess whom we all love but I love most! <3 <3 <3
@ratkin - You are right, but go on and tell me you didn't do it too!
@Kelly - I know exactly what to do with it. I'm ordering a big bowl of popcorn right now!!
@Ratkin: being ageist is one of the disadvantages of being old. You think everyone's out to get you (and your age) but your the most ageist of them all! mwhahaha
@Ducky - Sorry, I never stoop to Sucking Up.
Oh @Jesse,
Where is my love....
@Ratkin: wrong move. you should order popcorn, chocolate and an alcoholic beverage of some sort. (ask Becky)
@ratkin... I am pretty good at sucking up, when need be.
@Jesse - Congratulations!! Even for you that was a totally inane statement!!!!
Oh Gods of Random these imposters know not of what they speak. I trust in your randomness to choose the best of these random people. :)
@ratkin -- how young do you think I am? Oh and by the way, all three words you spelled using ARC are missing their h's just after the c's.
@Kelly: I dunno. You should look for it. <3 (here's a tiny bit of MY love, but the rest is reserved for the GoR and Gini)
@ Kelly - I am PERFECTLY sure I am the most random, I love the Gods of Random most AND Gini loves me best. These are ALL facts!
@ratkin...
BWHAHAHAHA!!!!!
Just going to sit back and watch the show?
@Ratkin: thank you. It just proves I'm the most inane (and random) person you'll ever meet)
"Oh Gods of Random these imposters know not of what they speak. I trust in your randomness to choose the best of these random people. :)" Exactly! ME!
@Cody - Cant put one past you, can I oh 26-year-old?
@Cody - Not only do I have kids older than you, I have promotional t-shirts that are older than you!
@Kelly: of course he is! he's not nice enough to get involved in this suck fest.
@Ratkin: see? AGEIST!
@Kelly - I'm glad that at least SOMEONE interpretted that comment properly :)
@Becky,Ducknme&Kelly: it's obviously me. :P
@ratkin, I have stuff older that you too, but they are things I got second-hand. I'm not sure what that has to do with anything, but i feel compelled to let you know!
@Jesse - That wasn't ageist, it was a statement of fact.
@Ratkin: was that gibe aimed at me?!
@Ratkin: that's the first sign of ageistness: you don't think that you're ageist. (but you really are) I have stuff older than you too! But you don't see me bragging about it! wait...
*makes popcorn and watches the battle of "wits" between ratkin and jesse* :)
@Jesse Ivanhoff - When you said "it's obviously me. :P" You mispelled Ducky.
@Ducky - Apples and oranges. The items I'm referring to were new when I got them. And they are, in fact, older than Cody.
@Ratkin: besides, I'm sensitive about my age as I'm probably the youngest person here. ;_;
Wow @Kelly, declaring your love for the GoR when you aren't going to win is kind of sad...
@ratkin, I didn't know frolicking had an expiration date!
@Jesse Ivanoff and @Cody Calahan, Mmmmmmm, jalapeno and cream cheese poppers and lemos and herb cod for supper! Jealous???
@Ducky: no, I think I spelled "me" right: J-E-S-S-E. :P
@Shanna: most incredibly! do you have any leftovers????
@Jesse - By definition, old people talking about being old isn't ageist. It's a thing called "reality." Do they have that Down Under?
@ratkin -- Hahahaha close. I'm 25. But yeah I agree. You being old just makes you super ageist. And the thought of you frolicking is something I'll be happy to picture when I need a sexy-mood killer for some reason.
@Shanna - I am jealous over your dinner, we were invited over to the home of a kind lady for dinner and the food was cold!
The company was good though!
@shanna -- freakin' yes!!!!
@Ratkin: reality? isn't that like a t.v. show or something?
@Shanna - Maybe you read a little TOO fast! It said my ability to frolick expired, not frolicking itself. The mind is willing, but the body is so far over the hill that the hill isn't even in sight anymore.
Oh @jesse, shanna, Kelly and Becky -- I love you gals. This is hilarious to watch. For some reason I'm not on top of my game tonight. It's gonna happen though.
@Cody: thank you for agreeing with me! I knew you were smart! (lol! so true!)
@All - Hey! ratkin is allowed to frolic too! But you are right, I don't need the mental picture. Actually I'm not sure i want the mental piture of ANY of my friends frolicking. Eww. Just Ewww!
@Cody - I was rounding, on your age.
@Ratkin: it's a sad day when you lose sight of the hill. maybe you should try to find another one! ^^
@Ducknme: it is kinda scary to picture! then you just picture disney's Snow White and it's all good again! :P
@Jesse - I keep telling you, it's spelled Ducky if we are talking about the GoR giving anyone an ARC!
@All - Gotta go. It's been fun, and I wish you all luck! I just wish you all a little less luck than me.
I need my sleep, since I'd like this contest to expire before I do.
@Cody: glad we could help:P however, we have taken your game so that we could use it ourselves. Terribly sorry but it's unlikely you'll be getting it back tonight! <3
@Everybody
I think the winners of the ARCs will for sure be frolicking :)
@Cody, So, what? I'm not hilarious too? Should I feel insulted or complimented?
@Ratkin: goodnight! thanks for the extra luck! (although I will be on until the exact second this contest closes. It's a shame some people need so much sleep.)
@Becky: you are so right!
@Ratkin, Good Night (And good-luck, but,yeah, less than me.)
Oh Almighty GoR,
Do not pay any heed to these lowly peasants of imposter... ness. They know only what their small minds can think of (or what their dimensia will allow them to see).
It is I, Cody Calahan, who is the most... OOOOO!!!!! Something shiny!!!
Ahem... Who is the most random of all. Have mercy upon me and show me your awesome favor. I humbly throw myself at your feet!!
Your willing servant,
Cody Calahan
**Offers oven fresh turkey, mashed potatoes, seasoned veggies, followed by a plethora of desserts and booze**
@Ducknme: nuh uh. I think your eyes are going after dealing with little children all day. It's obviously spelled Jesse! duh! <3
@Becky - I am completly prepared to frolic! Woo-Hoo!
@Cody: distraction is not random. If it was, it'd be called distraction and not random. AND IN NO WAY AM I A PEASANT! Unlike some people, I know what I'm talking about. :P
*offers the GoR rice paper rolls, sushi, a different array of cakes and baileys*
@ratkin -- so many excuses. You got it wrong. Just admit it.
G'night old fart.
@Ducknme: I too am prepared to frolic. there can be more than one frolicer and in more than one country!
@ducky -- AHHHHH!!! No you are totally in the group also. How could I forget you?!?! So stupid!!!! **slaps forehead**
@ratkin -
Night and good luck on the not expiring part. :)
*Adds to Cody's offering and leaves a myriad or morsels and a barrel of booze.*
