The Year is Almost Over! Another year is almost gone, and the new one is peeking around the corner. Hope everyone is having and will have great holidays through the rest of the month and the start of our next new year! A gentle reminder that books make great gifts, and reviews are gifts that keep on giving for the authors you love. Also...I apparently cannot read a calendar this month. TECHNICALLY, the READ THIS! Q&A should be next week, on the 21st (aka the 3rd Thursday of the month). Only...I was looking at February's calendar when I sent out the last Update (why ask why?) and therefore gave a date that is this week, but Friday of this week. BUT...I'm having outpatient surgery on the 20th, and I honestly don't expect to be up to doing much of anything on the 21st other than recovering. SO...the READ THIS! Author Q&A is going to be THIS Thursday, the 2nd Thursday of the month JUST THIS ONE TIME, on the 14th. Clear as mud? LOL Yeah, it's kind of crazy here at the Manse at the end of the year. Because I get asked this daily (often multiple times daily)... Yes, Aliens Like Us IS coming, but... No, Aliens Like Us still isn't ready for Prime Time, but... I'm on Version 5 of the rewrite process. Does every book take me this long? No. Will all the others in the series take this long? Likely no. Life has tossed a lot at me and mine and that's made some things a struggle, but... Kitty is always with me, and she's not going to let the bad things win, in any universe. So...Watch this space for more updates as I have them. And keep those digits crossed for the hope that my shouting "the end!" comes sooner as opposed to later. P.S. I am definitely heading towards the end game. I realize that's vague, but it means that I think we'll be shouting "hurrah" somewhere in the nearish term. Digits crossed, at any rate... P.P.S.
