Winning Wednesday

Happy Hump Day to all!

Well, on Monday I insinuated that there was more winning afoot, and, as my Hook Me Up! subscribers already know, it starts now! So hold onto your hats, it's gonna be a thrilling ride!

First up, the Bibliophilic Book Blog has a new interview with yours truly. Find out more about Mysterious Moi (*snort* I know, like I'm SUCH a cipher), leave some Alien Collective love -- yes, I will be answering any questions and responding to comments -- AND get a chance to win a copy of "Touched by an Alien". Such a deal at twice the price!

Next up, Larissa's Bookish Life has a huge birthday bash going, with tons of giveaways, including a copy of "Touched by an Alien" in the Funny Ladies Prize Pack. Check it out, leave the Collective love, get entered to win!

As many of you know, I'm active at the Absolute Write Water Cooler. There's an interesting blog from a bookseller about some AW author titles and how they're moving, including "Touched by an Alien". Those of you interested in how the industry's moving will probably want to hit the Alternative Ramblings blog and check the article out.

We've also got another great review of "Touched by an Alien" from I Smell Sheep. Check it out, leave the love, you know the drill.

Speaking of drill, there's only a couple days left to enter my Hook Me Up! exclusive Comic-Con Swag Pack Giveaway. And that's to...be on my Hook Me Up! subscribers list. It's simple and free, and it gets you in for all the good stuff. Send an email to gini@ginikoch.com with "Hook Me Up!" in the subject line and you'll be in. There's still time this week to get in on this awesome giveaway, so don't delay, sign up now!

Is there more coming? Of course there is! But you have enough to do today. So, get on with your bad selves, hit the contests, read the interview, article and review, and have yourselves an awesome downward slide towards the weekend!

Love,
Gini

Thank YOU guys for the great review! We also spotlight reviews and such on the Accolades page -- yours should be up there soon (okay, soon-ish...deadlines cause other things to move to the back of the line).

Feel free to hang out and stay a while!

Hey, hey - you wanted numbers?

I gots them.

Since April, the total sales # is 7. There are 2 left in the store, and guess what? You're modeled for 1. Woot!

And we're a relatively small store in Independence, MO. =D

Wow, that's great! I don't know what modeled for 1 means, though. Does that mean they expected to sell 1 whole copy or does it mean expected to keep 1 copy in stock on the shelves? And, go Independence, MO in terms of Alien Love! LOL

(For those Collective members who see these numbers and wonder why Nicole and I are happy about them, it's all a case of multiplication. :-D)

Modeled = we are to have that specific number of books in the store at all times. So if we end up selling all of them, the system will automatically order another book to be sent to the store.

Obviously, being modeled is GOOD, haha, because it means your books are almost always in the store for people to see and buy. Whoo!
