And Yet...More Winning

Happy Friday! Yes, as my Hook Me Up! subscribers already know, it's true -- you just can't stop the winning signal. We've had 9 winners of a copy of The Night Beat, and one lucky winner of a copy of both The Night Beat and Skein of Shadows by Marsheila Rockwell.

But, it's not over yet! That's right, the second half of the Double Kickass Heroines contest is on! Just leave a comment on this blog post with your name and email address, which also notes who YOUR fave kickass heroine is any time from today, Friday, July 27, through Sunday, August 5th. One winner will receive an ebook copy of BOTH books, to be announced in the week of August 6th. And yes, the contest is open internationally.*

I know! It's too happy to be true! But it is, so get some more win on and get your bad selves entered to win! Yes, contest is open to everyone. So...who's YOUR favorite kickass heroine?

Love,
Gini

Note: Not all the winners of The Night Beat Hook Me Up! exclusive contest have checked in yet, so if you entered, check yesterday's Blah, Blah, Blah Blog lest you not claim your prize in time and therefore forfeit it to someone else.
*International winner will only get a copy of The Night Beat, due to restrictions the authors have no control over.

Hi Miki,

The Night Beat is available via Amazon (ebook and trade paperback), as well as in all ereader formats. :-D Unfortunately, Skein of Shadows can't go internationally (NOT the author's fault, btw), but it is available in all ebook formats for U.S.

Great kickass choices there! Good luck!

There are lots to choose from but my all time (I would take the books as my only luxury item on a dessert island) is Phedre no-Delaunay deMontrieve from the Kushiel series by Jacqueline Carey. I just LOVE her. I don't want her tattoo (it's just so huge) but I think she is amazing for so many, many reasons! jepebATverizonDOTnet

For allround literal kickassing of any person, creature and other other offending entity it would have to be Jane Sagan (from Old Man's War).

For enthusiastic whoop-assing to an unbeatable soundtrack it's hands down to Kitty Martini.

For stubborn, kick through every interfering ass to get the job done it would be Charley Davidson (First Grave on the Right series).

My favorite kick-ass heroine is usually whoever I am currently reading. I just happen to be re-reading the Alien series right now, so Kitty is at the top of my list. If I had entered a week ago, I would have voted for Kate Daniels, and next week it may be Mercedes Thompson. I love strong heroines. What I love about Kitty is that she is expanding MY music playlist, since I try to drag all the songs she mentions onto a "Kitty's Playlist" on my computer, lol. I also love that she saves her man as often as he saves her. Now that is a partnership. I already own the ebook of Night Beat. If I won, could I give it to a friend? I love to share the addiction ;)

My favorite kick ass heroine is Jennifer Estep's Gin Blanco - she takes a beating and still kicks ass even more. I'd definitely add Kitty to the list as well, she's right up there kicking booty with the best of them.
