Aliens Like Us Revelations

Happy Hump Day, Hook Me Up! Gang,

The shock has to be hard on some of you. YES, another newsletter a week after the one that took months to show up. Deep breaths, deep breaths...

Not to worry -- I won't be in your inboxes every week. But I have things I know all y'all want to know (and see), so on we go! And we go right onto some very good news...
COVER REVEAL

That's right, it's he-ere!

Or, rather, it's over at my Premieres page. Don't wait! Click that link and feast your eyes on the awesomeness that artist Lindsey Look has created!

And now, for some bad news...

As some of you have surmised based on Amazon's advising you of such, Aliens Like Us is not actually going to release in August. The why is pretty simple -- 2017 kicked my butt and I'm so far behind that even Kitty can't make a joke about it. It's not fair to DAW and Penguin Random House, and it's not good for me or my sanity, either. So, my editor and I went over things and Aliens Like Us will release in February 2019.

I realize that's a long time for you guys to wait for your next Kitty Fix but, honestly, the books are long and appear to be getting longer despite my best efforts to rein the characters in. Plus, with my actually getting a smidge of breathing room to get Aliens Like Us done without total panic and mass hysteria, I should finally be able to focus on other things...like Night Music, Alexander Outland: Space Avenger, The Alien Collection, and more.

So, while I know there will be wailing and lamentation about the delay, in the long run, the time will fly by and I will still be feeding your reading addictions. And, hopefully, keeping myself out of the rubber room and the special jacket with long arms.

See The Me Live - Kind Of!

One of the alert Members of the Alien Collective in Very Good Standing (Joseph Gaxiola) spotted this video. I'd forgotten we'd done this game at the Penguin Random House party at last year's San Diego Comic-Con, but we did, and now you get to see it, the Game for the Ages.

I would travel cross-country with you, my daughter, Kitty, Jeff and Chuckie. My daughter because I love spending time with her, you for the craziness, Jeff and Kitty because they're always up to something fascinating, and Chuckie to help get us out of whatever mess we get into. Seriously. I'm not sucking up - those would be my first picks!
