Hey there! I know, it's another blog post, what WERE the odds?
Because I get asked this daily (often multiple times daily)...
Yes, Aliens Like Us IS coming, but...
No, Aliens Like Us still isn't ready for Prime Time, but...
I'm using the Virus Troubles to git 'er dun, so...
Fear not, Kitty & Company will be back sooner than you think...
I promise. |

Things are Different This Year: Cinco de Mayo Edition
Happy Cinco de Mayo 2020. At least we get tacos.
I hope everyone is hanging in there and remaining safe and healthy. These are Interesting Times and while I vastly prefer to write about them rather than live them, we all have to do what must be done. That's right: We have to have tacos and fiesta like it's 1999 all over again! I have faith that all y'all can manage it with great style and grace. Extra points for truly excellent guacamole. |

Looking for something, anything, that's about the Alien Series? Well, look right here...
Galactic Stew - featuring "Alien Capers" - is available for pre-order. If you want a physical copy, go to the publisher's site (Zombies Need Brains) and if you want ebook, go to the Kindle Store.
No, it's not Aliens Like Us, but it does tell you what happens during Aliens Abroad to those who are left behind in the Apatan System, and you know you want to know who did what to whom and why. |

Last month, Flame Tree Press had its authors share our inspirations for our short stories in A Dying Planet. This month, it's our favorites in the apocalyptic genre. Check out what movie is my fave and why (hint: Kitty refers to it more than once throughout the Alien Series. Good ol' Planet Bob...) over at the Flame Tree Blog! Also, if you're short on reading material, you might want to pick up a copy -- it's a beautiful volume chock full of great stories by awesome authors. Want to be sure? Here's the Table of Contents! |

I did a number of reviews for TG Geeks before all The Virus Troubles started. Some of them now sound sweetly nostalgic (going TO a restaurant, how exotic and old-fashioned), but some of them can help you choose what to while away the hours with. Plus there's plenty more great, fun content at the site. See? We do it all for you.Binging My Life Away Doom Patrol

Random Randomness
Kissing Books featured a nice little guest blog by Alien Collective Member in Very Good Standing Jaymie Dieterle, which has some great SFR recommendations.
I share one of my most memorable meals (not memorable for the food, per se) over at Eating Authors, awesome author Lawrence M. Schoen's blog.
And there's a nice little interview with moi ovear at VoyageATL. |

That's it for today but, never fear, another blog will be on the way before you know it. In the meantime, stay safe and healthy, remember we're all in this together, be kind to one another, give love and support to all those who are on the front lines in any capacity, and let's be readers out there. Peace out, my li'l gangstas, and I'll catch you on the flip side!
Love, Gini |
