Combo-Con Pack 3 - Sword and Sorcery
HOOK ME UP! EXCLUSIVE CONTEST
I went to World Fantasy Con and all I came home with were tons of books. Then I went to TusCon 37 and all I came home with were lots of posters. So I thought to myself, “Self, I think it’s time to do another giveaway. After all, the Swag Hounds expect.”
So, here it is, the Combo-Con Contest, in honor of the release of “Alien Tango” (‘cause, you know, I don’t have nearly enough going on RIGHT NOW).
Combo-Con Pack 3 -- Sword and Sorcery
Again, loaded with posters, from “Resident Evil” to “Sherlock Holmes” to “Tangled” (13 posters in all!) and also containing a full set of “Twilight: Eclipse” posters, this pack is loaded with 4 sword and sorcery and other fantasy books, including “Warbreaker” by Brandon Sanderson, "Night of Knives" by Ian C. Esslemont, "The Sword-Edged Blonde" by Alex Bledsoe, and "Children No More" by Mark L. Van Name. Also comes with a signed Gini Koch 2011 calendar to call your very own -- which, since it's a poster, will make 14 posters in all. Sure it's less posters than the other packs, but you'll be so swept away on these fantastic journeys that you won't notice.
In order to get those needed extra entry points, answer this question: If you could go anywhere with me, where would we go and what would we do when we were there?
Love,
Gini

Nice, I love fantasy books.
If I could go anywhere with you I'd go somewhere I know, the Henry Doorly Zoo. It's actually pretty awesome and there's a lot of stuff to do. While there we would see some gators including an albino one at the Desert Dome, go to the aquarium to see all the various penguins and then to the jungle to see the sickeningly cute tapirs.
Me too! love fantasy.
If i could go anywhere with you, we'd go to a rock concert! Why because we both love listening to rock...and I've never been to one so ...it would be new and fun experience! :)
I betcha my albino alligator is bigger than your albino alligator Becky! LOL ;) We got three of them in New Orleans. Big suckers.
As of actual fun things to do. Let's just go get drunk on Bourbon Street, what do you say? There is nothing like bonding over some stiff drinks and a bit of raucous behavior on a street that thumbs it's nose at open container laws!
@Parajunkee and @Becky: I have never seen an albino alligatorrr! Sounds coool.
@Van - if ya come to New Orleans I'll take you to the Aquarium.

We would go to a sci-fi convention in warm Tucson and we would dress up like Han Solo and Chewbacca when we got there--I'll be Chewy, I love that roar. :)
@Parajunkee: How fun! *looking at the pictures on the website* :D

@van, yeah it is pretty cool because the zoo built a swamp like area for them and other nocturnal animals like some pretty giant bats, http://www.omahazoo.com/index.php?p=animalsexhibits&s=kingdomsofthenight
@Becky: Wow the Kingdom of knight is soo cool...If i ever heard towards Nebraska I will definitely check this place out, been in California all my life >.<
We will go to the set of Castle and stalk, drool, stalk some more.
I've said it before and I'll say it again.
Anywhere in the TROPICS!!!
Frozen drinks w/ umbrellas and half naked men at our feet begging to do our bidding. What could possibly be better? :D
@Lisa - If the the half naked men had lots of money and a rare disease that rendered them unable to play video games, drink beer and flatulent. UTOPIA
If we could go anywhere and do anything it would totally be to Daytona for Bike week. Or an Aerosmith concert. Cause I know you love them. Like in a Elevator.
ok that was punning. But you love me so I'm sure it's forgiven.
Since i'm from Greece i'd take you out to try one of our traditional dishes (souvlaki!!!) and then go for a walk under Acropolis!
Since someone already took my Castle idea, I'd take you to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum in Cleveland. We can see all of the great Aerosmith stuff they have on display.
Yeah, I got nothin'. I think a cruise somewhere would be fun, as long as the food was good, the drinks were flowing and the conversation fantastic.
@Buckeye, that someone would be moi. Neener, neener.
@Kelly, a cruise? Yeah, try my uncle's yacht instead. Food and drinks and a really hot crew.
Six Flags New Jersey! Fun! :D Or we could go to Lake Bled (Slovenia), eat cream cake and talk talk talk! :)
I like the sound of these fantasy books! If I could choose to go anywhere with you - let's go to the moon on a space cruise ship. This is fantasy right?
Or for real life maybe we can find a book/author cruise...Cruising anywhere with books is good for me and should be relaxing for you.
@Amber - a yhat? Hell I will buy you the posters - tell me when and where kid and I'm on my way!
@Amber I'm so excited I can't even spell yacht.
The Grand Canyon so we could walk out on that glass platform thing and look down, and about at its awesomeness.
