The READ THIS! Selection for November 2020 is:

Threadbare
by Elle E. Ire

Gini's Take: SFR in a gritty, military setting, action that will make you keep turning the pages, and romance to root for.

About the Author: Elle E. Ire writes science fiction and urban fantasy novels featuring kickass women who fall in love with each other. So far, these include VICIOUS CIRCLE (2015/2020), and the STORM FRONTS trilogy: THREADBARE (2019), PATCHWORK (2020), and WOVEN (2020). When she isn’t writing, Elle enjoys getting into her characters’ minds by taking shooting lessons, participating in interactive theatrical experiences, paying to be kidnapped “just for the fun and feel of it,” and attempting numerous escape rooms.

Multiverse: Multivirtual 2020 Recap!

I had a fantastic time at the Multiverse: Multivirtual con. It did the impossible -- it made you feel like you were really at a con. They even managed bar events, as well as mentoring sessions, watch parties, and more. A truly great, inclusive, welcoming, and fun time was had by all.

Bummed you missed out? Well, you can catch up on a lot (though not all) of the con experience, by heading over to the Multiverse YouTube Channel and checking things out! My panel, Make Me Laugh: Writing Humor in SpecFic is up there, too! So, don't miss out any longer, check out all the great Multiverse content!
UFO 8 is available now!

The latest installment in the Unidentified Funny Objects anthology series, UFO8, is available now!

Check out what Tangent Online had to say about it, then race off and get your copy today! After all, you don't want to miss my story, "C.A.T. Squad", now, do you? Of course you don't!

Because I get asked this daily (often multiple times daily)...

Yes, Aliens Like Us IS coming, but...

No, Aliens Like Us still isn't ready for Prime Time, but...

I'm using the Virus Troubles to git 'er dun, so...

Fear not, Kitty & Company will be back sooner than you think...

I promise.

P.S. Despite what you'd think, pre-orders are still mattering a whole lot, so even though it SAYS it's coming in 2050 or 3000 or something, do your girl a solid and pre-order this book as soon as the various retailers allow it, please and thank you!

P.P.S. The book isn't available for pre-order in most places at the moment, because it's not back on DAW's schedule yet (because, well, see above). This is the (constant) reminder that, when it IS available, it'll help a LOT if you pre-order it.
In case you missed it, I did a reading from my story in A Secret Guide to Fighting Elder Gods, "Pickman's Daughter", by moi writing as J.C. Koch, for the Atlanta Horror Writers Association chapter's Southern Nightmares Reading Series (#4).

Check it out, then get this cool anthology to get ALL of the story. Plus, you'll get all the other stories in this Stoker Nominated anthology, too. What's not to love?
Random Randomness

I'm incredibly pleased to share this piece from York College of PA about one of the Members of the Alien Collective in Very Good Standing, James Fuchs. Way to go, James, you do the Alien Collective proud!

That's it for today but, never fear, another Update, including the Discord Q&A chat invitation, will be arriving in a couple of weeks!
