The Yap Runs With Monstrous Sheep

Happy Hump Day! Miss me? I missed you! Though, happily, not all of you, because I got to see tons of you at Phoenix Comicon this past weekend! The con was great and I had a blast. There's a big PCC update to come, but I was "gone" a week and we know what that means, don't we? Right, it means a lot of update going on. So let's get to it!

First off, the yap is indeed large and in charge over at I Smell Sheep with an interview from the floor of Phoenix Comicon. Plus you can enter to win a signed, personalized copy of either Alien Tango, Alien in the Family, Alien Proliferation, or Alien Diplomacy, plus a set of cover magnets, cover postcards, and signed flyers. Contest ends June 3rd, open internationally.

Next up, head right on over to Book Monster Reviews where a full series recap AND the latest Top 10 List is up -- things you NEED to know about Kitty and Martini. And, shocking no one by now (at least, I hope not) you can enter to win a signed, personalized copy of either Alien Tango, Alien in the Family, or Alien Proliferation, plus a set of cover magnets, cover postcards, and signed flyers. Contest ends June 1st, open internationally.
Next up, let's hit some reviews. See what Jackie at Wicked Little Pixie and Bibliognome thought of Alien in the House, then see what Dog-Eared Pages thought of Alexander Outland: Space Pirate by G.J. Koch (yes, that's moi).

Haven't started Alien in the House yet? Check out the Sentence Sneak Peek over at Bibliognome. Have and want to chat about it? Share in the discussion over at DAW Books Review. Then finish up by checking out Gizmo's Reviews Top 10 Favorite Kick-Ass Heroines, and some of the recent fave reads from My 5 Monkeys.

That's it for today, and while more's on the way, since I'll be at Arizona Dreamin' this weekend, more probably won't be coming until next week. So enjoy the downward slide towards the weekend, have a great weekend when it gets here, I'll see some of you at AZD, and let's be readers out there! Peace out my li'l gangstas, and I'll catch you on the flip side!

Love,
Gini

Time for a Quickie?

Happy Hump Day! (Made you look.)

Lots of links today, but, as my Hook Me Up! subscribers already know, still somehow short and sweet. Don't thank me...it's just how we roll around here.

Fist up, check out some awesome new reviews of "Alien Tango" at Book Noise and Publishers Weekly: Beyond Her Book.

Then, see what books Mark of the Stars and Ex Libris are waiting on.

Tor.com has an in-depth look at the science fiction releases for April (yes, "Alien in the Family" among them). And check out Anna's Book Blog and Wicked Little Pixie for comprehensive listings of what's coming next month.

That's it for today, but there's lots more coming (including new opportunities for the yap to run), so stay tuned!

Love,
Gini

More Comic-Con and the Swag Beginneth

Happy Monday! Well, vacay's nice, but it's nicer to be back in the casa with full access to all I want access to! As my Hook Me Up! subscribers already know, we've got a packed day today, so let's get to it!

First off, some have asked me for a description of how my panel went. Conveniently, an audience member did a full write-up (and I got the lead! Woot!), so check it out at Superhero Novels.

Next up, I was gone and more reviews of "Touched by an Alien" came in! There's a great one over at Wicked Little Pixie. And the DAW Books Community has a good one, too. Check them out, leave some Alien Collective love!

Amber Scott's launched the next two books for Project Pay it Forward -- check 'em out, I'm pretty sure you'll all agree that these selections are totally worthy!

And now, what I know you're all waiting for -- the launch of the Comic-Con Swag Pack Giveaway! Check out the info on my Win Stuff page, and prepare to drool accordingly. Each day this week I'm going to describe a Swag Pack in more detail here at the blog (separate from standard blog update posts). In order to be entered into the giveaway, first, you have to be on Hook Me Up! Second...well, the instructions for how to enter are going only to Hook Me Up! subscribers. So, send an email to gini@ginikoch.com with "Hook Me Up!" in the subject line right away so you can get the deets and get your entry in!

These Swag Packs are amazing and huge! In "I'm glad I save big boxes" huge. In "Wow, it's like you were there without the expense or the exhaustion" huge. In "You're gonna WANT these" huge. In "I need to get on Hook Me Up! TODAY" huge. So, what are you waiting for? The Swag ain't gettin' any better, bigger or more available!

Love,
Gini
